Room 1 Shade House Club
Room 1 Students are responsible for looking after WBS Shade House.
We keep seedlings in our shade house: Ti Kouka (cabbage tree), Kowhai, Pohutukawa, Harakeke, Griselinia, Taupata, Korokio, Karo, Ringringa, AkeAke, Hebes. The seedlings we have in our shade house started their lives at the beginning of 2018 school year - we think they are coming along awesomely well!!!!
We are very fortunate to have Kauri (Ocean and Swish - the dogs) come in and support us with the development of our school shade house and seedlings. Thank you Kauri:-)
We have also been planting lavender bushes in the back gardens.

Buddy Writing - Room 1 & Room 7

Writing Instructions
Room 7 students have been learning about procedural writing.
As a part of their Science Inquiry focus, they made crystals.
The students then wrote instructions for making crystals.
Their buddy class mates in Room 1 helped with proof-reading, editing and publishing
