The 'Gizzy Hard' Duo, Amy and Stu,  stopped in at WBS this morning -

Room 4 students have been making miniature houses and invited Stu and Amy along to judge them. Nui syndicate classes gathered in the hall for the announcement of the winning house and for a Q and A time with Amy & Stu.

WBS Talent Quest 2018 . Wow! Amazing! Talented! A few words to describe the performers at our talent show today!

The annual Wainui Beach School Talent Quest was held yesterday. There were .21 performances and they were all great!!  There were gymnastics routines, band performances, soloists - singing, pianists, dancers (Can't Touch This!!), Jump Jammers and Motorcross Movies.

Capital-E . "Story Studio Live"

Capital-E 'Story Studio Live' team came to visit and perform for Nui Syndicate today.  Story Studio Live is a live performance experience where actors and musicians bring to life the tales written by young people for young people!   We learnt how sound was added into movies and TV shows - sounds made from everyday items!! The audience actively participated in some of the Foley sound effects and helped to create the ambience for a story that was presented - very cool!!

"Colour Day" at Wainui Beach School Room 1 - PURPLE PEOPLE!!!!!

"Colour Day" was a fundraiser day.  Money raised is to  go towards a new playground for children at our local hospital.

Wainui Beach Students came to school wearing "their class colour".  Colours were chosen out of a hat and given to each class.

Room 1 - PURPLE!!!!! as in grapes, plums, aubergines, blueberries, boysenberries, lavender  and BARNEY the dinosaur to name a few purples!
